Ongoing Events

Eastside Fuchsia Society meets on the third Tuesday of the month, 7 PM at Evergreen Court, 900 124th Ave. NE in Bellevue. Info, 425-885-2107.

The Lake Wilderness Arboretum offers docent tours of the arboretum the 3rd Saturday of the month. Meet at the gazebo at 10 AM, 22520 SE 248th St., Maple Valley, WA. Info 425-413-2572.

Volunteer Opportunities

Join the fun at Bellevue Botanical Garden, 12001 Main St., Bellevue. Volunteer in the gift shop, as a horticultural assistant, a docent or for many special events. For info call 425-451-3755.

The Lake Wilderness Arboretum in Maple Valley is completely managed and run by volunteers. Learn new skills, meet friendly people, and have fun in a beautiful setting. Volunteer days are every Weds. and Thurs. 9 AM–noon, and 9 AM–noon the first Sat. of every month.  22520 SE 248th St.  Maple Valley WA. Call 425-413-2572 or e-mail info@LakeWildernessArboretum.org

Work with garden staff or interns to plant, prune, create and maintain paths, and detail the garden. Tuesdays or Thursdays, 9–11 AM. Contact Bellevue Botanical Garden at 425-452-2750 or jmock@bellevuewa.gov.
