Designed Just for Gardeners!

Author Lorene Edwards Forkner and Mary Gutierrez
of Northwest Garden News are teaming up to offer garden tours in the Pacific Northwest—and elsewhere! We invite you to join us…

Rose Tour of the Skagit Valley

On June 27, we savor the scent of roses in the  Skagit Valley at Christianson’s Nursery and display garden, where we’ll enjoy a short presentation on “Old Garden Roses.” We will lunch out-of-doors, then visit a florist’s cutting gardens. We complete the day at the renowned Juntunen Garden, taking in the White Garden (based on the White Garden at Sissinghurst), the Statue Garden, the Kitchen/Herb Garden, the Lime Walk—and more!
$129/per person.

Mediterranean Garden Tour of Bainbridge Island

JUST A FEW SEATS LEFT!

On July 25, we sail across Puget Sound to the exotic gardens of Bainbridge Island. We are fortunate to be able to visit the garden of artists George Little & David Lewis during the last year this property will be open to the public. We will enjoy a presentation on “Mediterranean Gardening in the Pacific Northwest” at Mesogeo nursery & display gardens. Then, we lunch at Bainbridge Gardens Nursery and  end the day at Linda Cochran’s spectacular garden. It will be an unforgettable day!
$149/person.

All local tours include:

Bus and ferry transportation; morning coffee, tea and pastries; lunch; afternoon beverages and snacks; all garden admission fees, classes or seminars. We will provide directions to the bus pickup location with your confirmed reservation. Approximate tour hours: 8 AM to 5 PM.
